Viva la Re-Evolution!

There hasn’t been much Re-Evolution news in the last 6 months or so but Juan and I still are very dedicated to the project and are going to start to ramp up our renewal campaign starting with this article from Urban Latino Magazine. We are also in the May print edition so if you see this magazine on the news stands check us out.

As part of our campaign we will also be releasing tidbits and images from what Season 2 would look like if it were to get the green light. We hope everyone enjoys these postings and please tell your friends to sign our petition for renewal if you haven’t done so already.

Note: There is an error in this article that states we are the first Latino’s to be published by DC through extension via Zuda. Although we are the first latinos to win the Zuda competition, DC comics has had latino’s working within it’s ranks for years now which should be duly acknowledged. Without those pioneering individuals from latin america who made it into mainstream comics Re-Evolution would not be possible.

This makes it very clear to me how a Chehuahua marketing campaign could potentially be greatly successful. Just take a look at the success of Disney’s Beverly Hills Chihuahua movie. They had a huge guerilla marketing campaign with billboards and social media. People for some reason love those frikin’ little dogs and even the people who hate them will probably end up giving in to buyin some kind of Chehuahua merchandise because of their kids or someone they love.

I’m already seeing it now, Chehuahua shirts, Che mugs and of course Chehuahua comics! Well, this is a good inspiration to start the Re-Evolution marketing campaign again. If you haven’t already, please visit the Zuda feedback page and send Zuda an email saying you want more of Re-Evolution. Tell all your friends, family, whoever you know has access to the internet — we need your support. Viva la Re-Evolution!

We are off now to set up the Re-Evolution base camp and will be posting images and notes throught the convention. Stay tuned!
