Wonder of Comics: Deadly Wins Zuda March 2009 Competition

This months Zuda compeition got off to a slow start but ended with a bang. Children of Armageddon got off to a big lead and was in first place for for most of the competition right until the very end when Deadly just blew right past it and captured the top spot. With over 100,000 views and 600+ favorites Deadly’s numbers in the competition are quite outstanding.

“I was called by a TV station, and had a 5 minute segment on the local news, I had a 10 minute interview on the radio, and I had a group of friends that held back for a final run of votes. Also I was plugging away on myspace and facebook as usual. My hometown got behind me, my city got behind me, my friends and family got behind me.” said James “Foz” Fosdike who is the third Australian creator to win the Zuda the competition. It’s great to see how creators are kicking their marketing machines into overdrive to get support in the competition.  I can’t wait to see what’s in store next month!
