Today was the end of the 2009 Feb. Zuda contest and it was a neck-a-neck race between Azz’s Inferno and The Hammer for the top spot. The contest was so close that when voting stopped this morning  Zuda still had to go back and look at all the votes before declaring a winner.

“So not only did the team for The Hammer break out at the last minute for the win, they broke the home page!”, said Kwanza from Zuda’s staff on their blog.

This is a particularly exciting victory for the team who created The Hammer since they have all been regulars on the Zuda boards and past competitors who came together to create this great comic. It’s a great example of how much the Zuda community has grown since the launch of the site and how it’s bringing people together not only enjoy the comics on the site but to create new comics as well.
